It works with a wide variety of Apple tablets, including most iPads. One thing I liked, though, is that you can use it as a mouse even while it’s charging. The battery lasts about 8-10 hours in stylus mode, but it is considerably less in mouse mode – about 4-5 hours. You need to use the included USB-C charging cable to power it up. This is pretty nifty and works as it should.įurther, it can magnetically attach to the side of your iPad like the Apple Pencil. It has left and right mouse buttons that are easy to click with your index finger, and there’s also a tiny touch panel that functions as a scroll wheel. The advantage is that you don’t have to carry a separate mouse and stylus when on the move. The shape might be a bit odd for this function, but it works well and gets the job done. You can lay it on a flat surface and use it like a long and slender mouse.
It has palm resistance but lacks tilt detection or pressure sensitivity. The pointy tip is the stylus end that works just as well as an Apple Pencil to take notes or sketch. All Surfaces come with a stylus so even if you get a surface 5, whenever that's out, you will still have an extra dead weight stylus.Adonit Note-M is a multipurpose device that conveniently works as a mouse and a stylus. If they need them of course, but otherwise it is just dead weight to you guys I guess. The guys in the dept receiving the surface books will have to fork over more cash for new styluses if you don't pass it over as well. TLDR : still need to fork over the cash for an Apple Pencil. Me being a perfectionist I still won't use it over pen&paper. The apple pencil is the most accurate one so far I guess.
